The 10-man MLBB team for Aether Esports is almost complete.

Nexplay EVOS’ coach Setsuna "Dogie" Ignacio revealed that his recently revived esports organization, Aether Esports, is now looking to field multiple teams for various esports titles. Through a vlog, Dogie explained that the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) team is almost complete and the organization is now recruiting potential players for Wild Rift, PUBG Mobile, and Call of Duty (COD) Mobile. In the past, Aether Main was one of the most iconic esports organizations in the MLBB esports scene. The Aether Main MLBB team was the first champion of the MLBB Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) and the MLBB Southeast Asia Cup 2018. The team’s roster was eventually acquired by Bren Esports.

Aether Esports to field teams from various mobile esports titles

Following Dogie’s announcement of leaving Nexplay Esports, the popular MLBB celebrity is now looking to bring back his former esports organization, Aether Esports. His recent vlog details that his organization is currently looking for potential players to field in various mobile esports titles.

“So, we’re looking for players for CODM [COD Mobile], also Wild Rift, also MLBB, also PUBG Mobile” stated Dogie. “Basically every mobile esports.”

According to Dogie, the main five players of the Nexplay 2.0 MLBB squad will move to Aether Esports with plans to add five more players soon.

He also discussed the requirements needed to apply for each mobile esports title.

“For CODM guys, we prefer a whole squad, so they already have chemistry, we don’t like to acquire them individually,” Dogie said. “It’s also the same with PUBG Mobile.”

While Dogie prefers to acquire a whole squad, he thinks Wild Rift’s esports scene has not grown enough for him to easily acquire a five-man team.

“Squad or not, we’ll just have to see if we’ll have to go for individual because the pro players in Wild Rift are limited,” Said Dogie. “Their [esports] scene is so dead, it’s super dead.”

It is not yet confirmed if fans will be seeing Aether Esports in the MPL PH Season 10. However, Dogie is determined to have it compete in the mobile esports scene and represent itself as a Filipino esports organization.
