MPL PH Season 9 Playoffs Watch Party at SM Cinemas Announced

The upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines (PH) Season 9 will allow fans to watch it on the big cinema screen. The upcoming tournament will be broadcasted in selected SM Malls starting on 28th April leading up to the grand finals match which is scheduled to kick off on 1st May. The MPL PH Season 9 playoffs will feature six teams competing for the championship title and the lion’s share of the $300,000 USD prize pool. The top two teams from the playoffs will also secure a ticket to the upcoming Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup 2022 (MSC 2022).

How to watch the MPL PH Season 9 playoffs broadcast in SM Cinemas

The playoffs stage watch party will be held at eight selected Cinemas. The schedule is as follows;

• SM City Manila: April 30-May 1

• SM City Sta. Mesa: April 28-29

• SM City BF Paranaque: April 30-May 1

• SM City Sucat: April 30-May 1

• SM City Bicutan: April 28-29

• SM City Taytay: April 30-May 1

• SM City Masinag: April 30-May 1

• SM City San Lazaro: April 28-29

Tickets for the MPL PH Season 9 Playoffs Watch Party event are priced at ₱170 Peso per person. The ticket comes with a free popcorn and mystery freebies from MLBB.

28th April

• (Match 1) ECHO vs Omega Esports - 4:00 PM

• (Match 2) Nexplay EVOS vs ONIC PH - 7:00 PM

29th April

• (Match 3) TNC Pro Team vs “Winner of Match 1” - 4: 00 PM

• (Match 4) RSG PH vs “Winner of Match 2” - 7:00 PM

30th April

• (Match 5) “Loser of Match 3” vs “Loser of Match 4” - 4:00 PM

• (Match 6) “Winner of Match 3” vs “Winner of Match 4” - 7:00 PM

1st May

• (Match 7) “Loser of Match 6” vs “Winner of Match 5” - 3:00 PM

• (Match 8) “Winner of Match 6” vs “Winner of Match 7” - 7:00 PM

The MLBB esports scene in the Philippines is starting to return to its former format with teams competing offline and fans can now watch the action together through a cinema watch party. It will be interesting to see if the next MPL season allows a live audience in the venue.
