Diary of a Wimpy Kid Actor Zach Gordon to Voice Tighnari in Genshin Impact
Hoyoverse officially announced a new voice actor (VA) for the Genshin Impact character, Tighnari. The former VA was embroiled in a number of scandals, which sparked a fierce outcry from the gaming community. This compelled the game publisher to sever connections with him and find a new voice actor for one of the playable characters in Genshin Impact. Zachary Gordon, best known for playing Greg Heffley in the popular film adaptation of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid book, has been revealed as the new Tighnari voice actor. The community took to social media and welcomed the new VA through various memes to which Zach reacted.

Shortly after cutting ties with Elliot Gindi, the former voice actor of Tighnari in Genshin Impact, Hoyoverse announced Zachary Gordon as the new VA for the iconic Dendro character.
The new VA has starred in popular movies and TV shows like How I Met Your Mother, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, and Robot Chicken. However, he is widely known for his performance as Greg Heffley from the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie.
The community received the announcement positively, welcoming Zachary Gordon with a slew of memes relating various Genshin Impact characters to the Diary of a Wimpy Kid book art style.
Zachary Gordon, himself, also reacted to some of the Tighnari memes and fan art.
The new VA for Tighnari is set to release in the Genshin Impact 3.6 update. Along with the new voice actor, the game will include the addition of two new Dendro characters, Baizhu and Kaveh. While Kaveh is a 4-star Dendro character with the potential to deal some great damage, Baizhu is a 5-star Dendro character built to offer loads of heals and shields. We'll also see reruns of the Dendro archon Nahida and the dancer Nilou.
