Genshin Impact 3.6 will arrive on 12th April with new characters, two new artifact sets, Nahida’s second standalone story quest and more.
The patch is also introducing multiple new events and players can get a free copy of Faruzan.
The two new characters in 3.6 are Kaveh and Baizhu.

Hoyoverse announced new content and banners that are coming to Genshin Impact update 3.6. Baizhu and Kaveh are the two new characters making an appearance in the next patch and we also have reruns for Nahida, Ganyu and Nilou. There are new events, a new Archon Quest and other content to look forward to. Here is a rundown of all of the new content you can experience when Genshin Impact 3.6 drops later this month.

Genshin Impact 3.6: New Banners

Nahida, and Nilou will be in the first half on 12th or 13th April depending on your region.

Both banners will be available for three weeks before switching over to the second set of banners. Baizhu and Ganyu are the 5-stars who will make an appearance in the second half of 3.6. The new 4-star Kaveh will be on both the second-half banners so if you are looking to pull for him, you can try your luck on either the Baizhu or Ganyu banners.

A new 5-star Catalyst “Jadefall Splendor” will also be available in case you want to pull for Baizhu’s best-in-slot weapon. For the rerun characters, their respective best-in-slot weapons will also be available. Genshin Impact 3.6: New Boss

The Guardian of Apep’s Oasis is the new boss that you can fight in Genshin Impact. The location of the boss is unknown but it is likely to be in Apep’s Abode or in the new area “Girdle of the Sands. The boss was a friend of King Deshret and its court is populated by Wenut and Flying Serpents.

Two new artifact sets will be available in the new update.

Nymph’s Dream

2-piece bonus: Hydro DMG Bonus +15%

4-piece bonus: After Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks, Elemental Skills, and Elemental Bursts hit opponents, 1 stack of Mirrored Nymph will be triggered, lasting 8s. When under the effect of 1, 2, or 3 or more Mirrored Nymph stacks, ATK will be increased by 7%/16%/25%, and Hydro DMG Bonus will be increased by 4%/9%/15%. Mirrored Nymph stacks created by Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks, Elemental Skills, and Elemental Bursts exist independently.

Vourukasha’s Glow

2-piece bonus: HP +20%

4-piece bonus: Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG will be increased by 10%. After the equipping character takes DMG, the aforementioned DMG Bonus is increased by 80% for 5s. This effect increase can have 5 stacks. The duration of each stack is counted independently. These effects can be triggered even when the equipping character is not on the field.

Genshin Impact 3.6: New Location

Genshin Impact 3.6 will introduce Girdle of the Sands as the new location. It is a barren wasteland with ruins of an ancient civilization. The upcoming Archon Quest is likely to take place in this location.

Genshin Impact 3.6 Events

  • A Parade of Providence: The flagship event of update 3.6. It will feature time-gated mini-events that you can complete for a free copy of Faruzan, Primogems and resources.

  • The Recollector’s Path: A mini-event featuring Sorush.

  • Fulminating Sandstorm: A mini-event set in Aaru Village.

  • Brewing Developments: A mini-event set in the Wall of Samiel.

Genshin Impact 3.6 Release Date

The new update will drop on 12th April 2023 and the pre-load of the update on PC and console should go live around 10th or 11th April.
