Da Kun Gaming Wins Wild Rift Spark Invitational 2021, Qualifies to World Championship 2021

The League of Legends: Wild Rift Spark Invitational 2021 has concluded with Da Kun Gaming (DKG) earning the championship title. The Chinese team dominated the Wild Rift Spark Invitational 2021 with only two losses throughout the tournament. Da Kun Gaming went home with the grand prize of $31,000 USD along with the honor of being the first team to qualify for the upcoming Wild Rift World Championship 2021, which is expected to kick off in December 2021. The runner-up team, Team for Champion (TFC), received the $16,000 USD prize money along with securing a spot in the Chinese League Qualifier which is soon to be announced.

Da Kun Gaming is the first team to qualify to Wild Rift World Championship 2021

The Wild Rift Spark Invitational 2021 was the first official Wild Rift esports event for non-League of Legends Professional League (LPL) teams in China that was held offline in Shanghai, China. A total of 16 Chinese teams competed in the esports event for a chance to represent their region in the upcoming Wild Rift World Championship 2021. The top two teams earned a slot in the upcoming Chinese League Qualifier which is yet to be announced.

The Wild Rift Spark Invitational 2021 concluded on 28th Aug 2021, with Da Kun Gaming dominating the scene after beating TFC in the grand finals with a score of 4-1. The first three matches were in favor of DKG but TFC managed to turn things around in the fourth match. However, DKG did not take any chances and made sure to secure the fifth match, preventing TFC from making a comeback.

Da Kun Gaming went home with a massive prize of $31,000 USD and the honor of representing China in the upcoming Wild Rift World Championship 2021. The firstt runner-up, TFC, received $16,000 USD prize money and a second chance to redeem themselves in the upcoming Chinese League Qualifier. The third and fourth-placed teams, Nova Esports and Young Blood, were awarded $8,000 USD, and 5th-8th placed teams, Regans Gaming, TYLOO, Qing Jiu Club, and KuaiShow Legends, took $3,100 USD each.

Considering that Da Kun Gaming only lost twice in the entirety of the Wild Rift Spark Invitational 2021, the team is definitely a strong contender in the Wild Rift esports scene. It will be interesting to see how well they can perform against the top teams from different regions in the upcoming Wild Rift World Championship 2021.
