According to coach MTB, Blacklist International is still experimenting on which team lineup will work the best in the regular season.
The team is hoping to find its main-5 squad before the playoffs starts.

After underperforming last week, Blacklist International is back in its prime form in the MPL PH (Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines) Season 12 Week 5. The renowned Codebreakers scored two clean sweeps so far against Minana EVOS and ONIC PH. Since the first week of the MPL PH Season 12, Blacklist International has introduced multiple team lineups, including some players who have been promoted from its development squad. Through a post-match press conference, the Codebreakers’ coach shared how the team is still undecided on its main team composition for the playoffs stage. The team is still trying to experiment with different lineups and strategies before the second half of the tournament commences.

As previously revealed, Aniel "Master the Basics" Jiandani (also known as coach MTB), shared how Blacklist International is using the regular season for experimentation. The team has introduced multiple possible lineups and strategies in the previous weeks in hopes of figuring out the most effective team composition.

With the MPL PH Season 12 regular season in its two final weeks, Coach MTB revealed that the team remains undecided on who will be its Main 5 squad for the playoffs stage.

“For now, we are yet to finalize who will be our Main 5. To be real, all 10 players we have on our roster have been performing well,” he said.

Coach MTB remains hopeful that the team will be able to find the right team composition before the regular season ends.

“Maybe before playoffs, we can finally decide and if the two teams can really perform on an MPL Level, then we can let them continue playing,” he explained.
