Blacklist International Punches M4 World Championship Ticket
Blacklist International has qualified for the Grand Finals. The Codebreakers defeated ECHO in the upper bracket finals with a commanding 3-0 clean sweep. Blacklist International is also the first Philippines team to make back-to-back appearances on MLBB's international stage. The Codebreakers' head coach,Kristoffer "BON CHAN" Ricaplaza, revealed in a post-match press conference that Bren Esports is the team he doesn't want to face in the grand finals because of its resilience in matches. On the other hand, the team wants a revenge match against RSG PH in the grand finals of the MPL PH Season 10.
Blacklist International drops ECHO down to the lower bracket finals of the MPL PH Season 10
Blacklist International revealed a lot of surprising picks during its match against ECHO. During the first game of the series, the team’s jungler Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario showcased a Fredrinn jungle pick which completely caught the renowned super team off guard.
This continued in the second game where Wise picked another unique jungle pick. The star jungler picked Guinevere, where he finished with two kills and nine assists after a dominant 19-minute game.
ECHO went all out in its last attempt at a reverse sweep with an all-damage team comp. However, Blacklist International countered it with a heavy utility comp with Wise’s Fredrinn and Jonmar "OhMyV33NUS" Villaluna’s Diggie. The series ended with a 3-0 clean sweep victory for the Codebreakers, dropping ECHO down to the lower bracket finals.
Blacklist International thinks Bren Esports is a pain to deal with in matches
Blacklist International previously had one of the against Bren Esports. When the team was asked which teams they would like to face and avoid in the upcoming Grand Finals, Coach BON CHAN admitted that Bren Esports is at the bottom of the list of teams that he wishes to face anytime soon.
“I really don’t want [to go against] Bren Esports because they are very troublesome to deal with,” stated the coach.
BON CHAN added that he is looking forward to exacting revenge on RSG PH for giving them such a hard time during the regular season.
“I think there is only one [team] we havent’ made a payback just yet, it’s RSG,” explained the coach.
Blacklist International will be waiting for its final opponent in the grand finals match on 23rd October at 4:00 PM (PHT).
