League of Legends: Wild Rift SEA Icon Series 2021: Summer Season Indonesia runner-up, Bigetron Infinity announced that it is releasing its Wild Rift roster. The big announcement was made through the official social media handles of Bigetron Esports on 23rd July 2021, thanking the players for their efforts and wishing them good luck in their esports career. Bigetron Infinity debuted on 22nd Nov, 2021, and is comprised of former League of Legends PC esports players who previously competed in the Garuda Series Tournament. Similar to ONIC Esports who also recently released its Wild Rift roster, Bigetron Infinity also did not reveal the reason for the departure of its team roster.

Bigetron Infinity disbands its Wild Rift roster

One of Indonesia’s biggest esports organizations, Bigetron Infinity has announced that it is releasing its Wild Rift roster through a Twitter post on 23rd July 2021.

“Thank you and good luck for our Wild Rift division, Bigetron Infinity! We’ll miss you guys,” the post captioned.

The team is comprised of the following members;

  • Muhammad "Falp1" Fajri

  • Steven "Control" Verdianta

  • Henry "Henry" Nathaniel

  • Rully "Nuts" Sutanto

  • Dewa "Dewa" Fabian

  • Harry "Harry" Rainier

Bigetron Infinity’s esports career may have been short, but they secured first place during the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series 2021: Preseason. The team went on and dominated the summer season but was eventually dropped by ONIC Esports in the grand finals, putting them in second place for the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series 2021: Summer Season Indonesia. The team also represented Indonesia alongside ONIC Esports in the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series 2021: Summer Super Cup where both Indonesian teams placed 9th-12th in the final rankings.

The Indonesian organization, Bigetron Esports, is one of the biggest esports organizations in Indonesia alongside EVOS Esports, ONIC Esports, RRQ, and Aerowolf. The organization holds a wide variety of teams for various esports titles such as Free Fire, PUBG Mobile, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. It is still unknown if the organization will rebuild its Wild Rift team in the future.

Bigetron Esports did not reveal the reason why it disbanded its Wild Rift roster. However, the esports journey of its members is far from over as they are currently free agents and are looking for new teams to join.

It will be interesting to see the former members of Bigetron Infinity join a new team where they can showcase their talent and dominate esports events once again. Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for future updates.
