ONIC Esports announced that it is releasing its League of Legends: Wild Rift roster after a four-month journey and claiming the championship title at the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series Summer Season Indonesia. The big announcement was made through the official social media handles of ONIC Esports, thanking the players for their dedication and wishing them good luck in their future endeavors. The team debuted in March 2021 and comprised of former Arena of Valor (AoV) and League of Legends (LoL) PC pro players along with three promising rookies. ONIC Esports is yet to reveal the reason behind the release of its Wild Rift roster.
ONIC Esports Releases Its Wild Rift Roster
The Wild Rift SEA Icon Series Summer Season Indonesia champions have announced on 22nd July 2021, that it is disbanding its Wild Rift roster.

ONIC Esports was one of the first teams established for Wild Rift. The team has acquired the championship title for the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series Summer Season Indonesia. They also got the chance to represent Indonesia in the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series Summer Super Cup where they placed 9th-12th place in the final rankings.
The Indonesian organization, ONIC Esports, is one of the biggest esports organizations in Indonesia alongside EVOS Esports, Bigetron Esports, RRQ, and Aerowolf. The organization currently holds teams from various esports titles such as Valorant, Free Fire, PUBG Mobile, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
ONIC Esports is yet to reveal the reason why it disbanded its Wild Rift roster. Its members are currently free agents and are looking for new teams to join. Given how impressive these players performed in the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series, a lot of teams may be looking to take them in.
It will be interesting to see which teams the former ONIC Esports members will be taking their talents to and perform in future tournaments. Fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for future updates.
