BGMI Showdown 2022 (BMSD): Teams, Schedule, Results, Format, Livestream

The BGMI Showdown 2022 (BMSD) has been announced by KRAFTON and it is all set to take place from 21^st to 24^th July. This will be the first official LAN event by the developers and will be featuring a prize pool of INR 15,00,000 ($18,750 USD).

A total of 24 directly invited BGMI teams from all across India will be competing in this tournament and the stakes will be higher than ever before as it is an official event.

This will be the third BGMI tournament that will be taking place on LAN after NODWIN Loco All Stars Invitational and BGMI Masters Series 2022 (BGMS), all three of them being organized by NODWIN Gaming.

BMSD 2022 is the first official BGMI tournament that will be taking place on LAN and is being organized by Krafton alongside NODWIN Gaming. Here is complete information about the event.

Teams

The BGMI Showdown 2022 will witness participation from 24 directly invited teams that have been divided into three groups of eight teams each.

The top 16 teams will be moving on to the grand finals after going head-to-head across the first three days in the group stage.

Schedule and Results

The first-ever official BGMI LAN tournament which is being organized by KRAFTON and NODWIN Gaming will be taking place across four days from 21^st to 24^th July.

In the first three days, group stage will be played out through which the top 16 teams will move ahead to the grand finals which will be taking place on the fourth and final day.

Day 1: 21^st July | 16:00 (IST) Onwards

Overall Standings

Format

• The BMSD 2022 will be taking place in two stages, the usual 24-team group stage followed by the 16-team grand finals. However, the participants will be under tremendous pressure as this is the first official BGMI tournament that is taking place on LAN.

• All three groups will be taking on each other across a total of six maps through the first three days of the tournament, resulting in a total of 18 matches.

• The top 16 teams will qualify ahead to the grand finals which will be taking place on the fourth and final day of the tournament. The team on top of the leaderboards at the end will be declared as the champion of BGMI Showdown 2022.

Prize Pool

The total prize pool for the BMSD 2022 is INR 15 lakhs which will be divided between the top 16 teams as per their placement, additionally INR 2 lakhs will be distributed for various awards like MVP (Most Valuable Player), Grenadier, Longest Finish, and Team with Most Finishes.

Livestream

The BGMI Showdown 2022 will be livestreamed in multiple languages across various platforms like YouTube and LOCO.
