New Map - Nusa
Originally introduced with the PUBG Mobile 2.2 update, Nusa was added to the battlegrounds in September last year. It is a tropical island, but unlike Sanhok, this is developed as a tourist spot with attractive locations all around the map. With a size of 1x1, it is the smallest map added to the game till date that pits a maximum of 32 players ready for fast-faced action. It also comes with some of the most advanced map exclusive features such as elevators, huts on fire, tactical crossbows and ziplines along with a new 2-seat - Quad.
New Weapons
Tactical Crossbow and NS2000 Shotgun, these are the two new weapons that are expected to be coming with the launch. Both items are Nusa exclusive for now. Although the normal Crossbow is one of the classic items in the game, the new one in Livik is much more advanced that can be shot with fire bolts that lets you set fire on huts on Nusa that will expose enemies that are camping inside.
New X-Suit:
The Stygian Liege X-Suit is the most recent item to be available in BGMI. Like its predecessors, the new X-Suit also comes with upgradable levels so prepare to spend a boatload of UC (in-game currency) if you are interested in adding it to your inventory.
Free Permanent Outfits and Skins
Well, it's not all an UC fest. Krafton has reserved free-goodies as well to reward its loyal fanbase for their patience throughout the ban period. According to the image featured on BGMI’s Google Play Store page, players will be able to get their hands on exciting premium outfits including the Underworld Guardian Set, and the Noble Lineage Set. Some of these items will be offered for absolutely free and others can be obtained from by completing missions/tasks in in-game events.
Apart from these, players will also be able to obtain attractive rank tier outfits and skins from the seasonal tab.
Upon preloading the game on the Google Play Store, players can see that the version number that it displays on the top left corner is 2.5. PUBG Mobile is currently featuring the 2.6 version on its servers which includes Dinoground theme, Ducati collaboration and much more. BGMI, on the other hand, plans to roll out these updates periodically over the next few months as per the description available on the Google Play Store.
