The first three weeks of the BGMI Masters Series 2022 have concluded with the top 16 teams moving on to the grand finals.
The grand finals of the BGMS 2022 will be taking place from 13th to 17th July featuring a total prize pool of INR 75,00,000.

The launch week (week one) and the league stage (week two) of the BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) 2022 which started on 24th June have finally concluded with the top 16 teams moving on to the grand finals, scheduled to take place from 13th to 17th July featuring a total prize pool of INR 75,00,000.

This Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) tournament is being televised on Star Sports 2 while also being exclusively livestreamed on Loco, automatically making it one of the biggest Indian esports tournaments of the year.

It started out with 24 of the best teams from across the country being handed a direct invite. Over the course of a highly competitive and grueling three week session the competition has dwindled down to just 16 teams, all set to compete in the fourth and final week of the BGMS 2022.

Out of the 24 BGMI teams that started out in this competition, only 16 remain while the other eight teams have been eliminated from the tournament.

Launch Week

The launch week of the tournament took place over the course of a single week. Here, each team was awarded points that counted towards the overall weekly final scoreboard.

League Stage

This was followed by the league stage of the tournament which took place over the course of the next two weeks - weekly qualifiers from Monday to Thursday and weekly finals from Friday to Sunday.

Here, the top 16 teams at the end of the weekly qualifiers competed in the weekly finals, and the scores of only those teams counted towards the overall weekly final scoreboard.

Grand Finals

The 16 teams mentioned above will now compete against each other to win the prestigious championship title of the distinguished BGMI Masters Series 2022, along with the lion's share of the INR 75,00,000 total prize pool.

The fourth and final week of the BGMS 2022, the grand finals stage of the tournament, will be taking place from 13th to 17th July. A total of 20 matches will be played across the five game days, four maps being played on every single day of the tournament.

With the cream of the crop ready to face the final frontier, it is surely going to be an exciting last week as the BGMS 2022 enters its final phase to crown its very first champion.
