BGMI 1.5 Update Schedule: Date and Time Revealed for India

The Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) 1.5 Update is going to be the first major update for the game, bringing with it some exciting new gameplay features. This update comes within a month of the game officially being launched in India, with Krafton even coming forward to give a detailed patch notes preview. A few highlight changes includes the MG3 Light Machine Gun, limited-time Mission Ignition Mode, revamped Ranked Season update, multiple settings to optimize gameplay, and a new way to celebrate victory. This update will be releasing before the teased BGMI esports tournament, so players will have enough time to adapt and make use of these new features to their advantage.

BGMI 1.5 Update: Release Date and Time

Krafton has come forward to officially announce the release date and time of the highly awaited 1.5 Update for Battlegrounds Mobile India. As per the BGMI website, the distribution of the BGMI 1.5 Update is scheduled to commence from 13^th July, 19:30 (IST) onwards.

However, the developers have notified that "This is an estimated time, distribution may end early or be delayed depending on the circumstances". A few points that Krafton has further mentioned along with the schedule of the BGMI 1.5 Update are,

• As client distribution proceeds sequentially, there may be differences in the timing of completion depending on the device you use.

• We recommend installing in a WiFi environment if possible when updating.

• We will notify you through this notice if the distribution is delayed.

This is going to be a major update and could be significant in download size. It comes packed with some really good gameplay and device optimization settings, which will help players preset a lot of things in advance.

Also, players with a low-end device can now run the game much smoother, automatically giving them higher frame rates and a better overall experience.

The new Royale Pass Season (RP Season) is set to commence from 14^th July onwards, as the Season 19 RP Season is scheduled to come to an end on 12^th July.
