BGIS 2024 Round 1 - Day 1 - Groups 1 & 2: Match Summary, Teams Qualified for Round 2

The Day 1 of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 Round 1 has concluded with the Enigma Gaming squad dominating the event. A few upcoming teams like 7Deadly Sins and Bolt Rushers Esports from Group 1 and Echoverse Esports and The Brawlers from Group 2 also showed consistent performances. 

The BGIS 2024 Round 1 will see 1024 teams competing for a spot in the Round 2.

BGIS 2024 Round 1 Groups 1 and 2 Match Summary

Group 1:

Match 1 Erangel: Enigma Gaming secured a 22 point chicken dinner. SahilOP from Enigma Gaming was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match with 7 finishes. Team Hyderabadi Coders placed second and got 13 points. 7Deadly Sins placed third, it had a good mix of finish and placement points and got 10 points. ZX Officials placed fourth and got 8 points. Team Rule Breakers placed fifth and got 6 points, 5 of which came via finishes.

Match 2 Miramar: Enigma Gaming secured back to back chicken dinners with 26 points. SahilOP from Enigma Gaming was the MVP of the match with 6 finishes. Bolt Rushers Esports and Sacred Eyes placed second and third and scored 9 points each. Team SSE Elite placed fourth and got 6 points, all coming via placements. 7Deadly Sins continued its momentum and grabbed 6 points. IPS Esports and 7Hills Esports were eliminated with 1 point each.

Match 3 Sanhok: Bolt Rushers Esports continued its good run and grabbed a 13 point chicken dinner. Enigma Gaming scored most points from the match, 30, 24 of which came via finishes. Lebron from Enigma Gaming was the MVP of the match with 9 solo finishes. 7Hills Esports placed third and got 10 points. 7Deadly Sins placed fourth and scored 9 points. Infinite Reality placed fifth, it had equal finish and placement points and got 6 points.

Match 4 Erangel: Great Esports started the BGIS event with a 19 point chicken dinner. 7XD Esports placed second and got 18 points, 13 of which came via finishes. DeadRex from 7XD Esports was the MVP of the match with 7 finishes. Ultimate Mirage Esports placed third and secured 10 points. Xieye Esports placed fourth and got 9 points, 7 of which came via finishes. Zeng Esports placed fifth and got 8 points. Echoverse Esports was eliminated early with just a single point.

Match 5 Miramar: The Brawlers secured a 17 point chicken dinner. Shoot At Sight placed second and scored 13 points. Echoverse Esports placed second, made a comeback and got 12 points. Team Echonic placed fourth and got 11 points. 7XD Esports placed fifth and got 9 points, 8 of which came via finishes. Whitehat from Great Esports was the MVP of the match with 4 finishes. SuperRocks and Ultimate Mirage Esports were eliminated with 1 point each.

Match 6 Sanhok: Echoverse Esports secured a 27 point chicken dinner. Firas from Echoverse Esports was the MVP of the match with 6 finishes. The Brawlers placed second, showed aggressive gameplay and got 14 points, 10 of which came via finishes. Lava of Champions placed third and got 12 points. Xieye Esports and SuperRocks placed fourth and fifth and got 9 and 6 points respectively. Great Esports and Team Warner were eliminated with 1 point each.
