Highlights
Underdog teams put forth great fights against seasoned teams and qualified for Round 3 of BGIS 2023.
Numen Gaming, Skulltz and GenxFM dominated both the days of BGIS 2023 Round 2 and grabbed a spot in the Round 3.

Day 2 of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) Round 2 has concluded and it marks the end of the matches for Groups 6 and 7. The top seven teams from each group have advanced to Round 3 of the BGIS 2023. The second round features 32 groups of 16 teams each. These teams will compete for the 224 slots in Round 3 during the four-day series.

Day 1 saw popular teams such as Numen Gaming and Orangutan put forth some incredible fights and it continued on Day 2 as well. Underdog teams brought about their best performance and some of them were able to grab a spot in the Round 3.

BGIS 2023 Round 2 Day 1 summary

Group 6 overview: Skulltz Esports impressed everyone with its performance in Round 2 of the BGIS 2023. The team finished first with 96 points at an average of 16 points per match, demonstrating the squad's consistency.

Numen Gaming, the seasoned squad was placed second and earned 89 points, 54 of which came via eliminations. Blood Bashers and Nameless Crea finished on the third and fourth spots with 72 and 63 points, respectively. Villains also put forth some great fights but fell short by just 3 points for the qualification spot.

Group 6 qualified teams for Round 3:

Group 7 overview: GenXfm Esports, an upcoming team asserted its dominance and earned 85 points with 49 finishes and one Chicken Dinner. The roster continued its excellent performance throughout both the days and was placed at the top of the table.

Flanker Esports, who had finished third after the three matches on Day 1, rose to the second position with 75 total points on Day 2. Orangutan grabbed the third spot with 62 points. Even though the Orangutan squad was not able to secure a chicken dinner, they did put forth a good performance. Team SE4L gave it their all in the final game, securing a 29-point chicken dinner but fell short by a single point.

Day 2 was as expected with seasoned teams continuing their dominance and some of the underdog teams making a comeback. The groups for Day 3 have not been revealed yet but fans are expecting the likes of Team Godlike and Team X Spark to put forth good performances.
