The eagerly anticipated Battlegrounds Mobile India series (BGIS) 2023 has already started, and Krafton has released the schedule and format for the event. The BGIS 2023 event will be played in several stages. The initial stages of BGIS 2023 The Grind, In-game qualifiers and Round 1 online qualifiers have already concluded. Round 2 will start soon and will consist of teams from the Round 1 online qualifiers as well as BGIS 2023 The Grind.

BGIS 2023 Schedule and Format

Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 Round 2 will take place from 7th September to 10th September and a total of 512 teams will compete in the second round. 

The 512 teams consist of 480 teams that qualified from the Round 1 online qualifiers, and 32 teams that got a direct entry from BGIS 2023 The Grind finals. Krafton has divided these 512 teams into 32 groups. The top seven teams from each group i.e. 224 teams will proceed to Round 3 and will join the already qualified top 32 teams from BGIS 2023 The Grind finals.

BGIS 2023 Prize Pool

BGIS 2023 boasts a total prize pool of INR 2 Crores with the champion receiving a massive sum of INR 75 Lakhs. BGIS 2023 also has some individual awards for its player such as The Most Valuable Player (MVP) will receive INR 4 Lakhs, Rising Star will receive INR 2 Lakhs, MVP of the finals will receive INR 2 Lakhs and the Best In Game Leader (IGL) shall receive INR 2 Lakhs as well.

Where to watch BGIS 2023 Round 2

Round 2 of BGIS will begin at 1 p.m. Indian Standard Time (IST) and can be watched on the Jio Cinema App and the Krafton India Esports YouTube channel. Similar to the Round 1 matches, only a few group games from the 32 groups' games will be live-streamed.

Popular teams including Orangutan, Revenant, GodLike Esports, and Velocity Gaming who were not able qualify for Round 3 of BGIS 2023 will now participate in Round 2.

In the recently concluded Round 1 online qualifiers, teams like Team X Spark, Numen Gaming, Global Esports, and Enigma Gaming showed complete dominance. Fans are hoping that these teams will continue their momentum and dominate the second round and grab a spot in Round 3 of BGIS 2023.
