ECHO remained as one of the dominating teams in the MPL PH Season 11 regular season.

One of the most wholesome moments in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports was the announcement made by Frederic "Bennyqt" Gonzales that he is officially a father. ECHO’s star gold laner named his daughter Wanwan, one of the most banned heroes in the game and its esports scene. Through a post-match press conference, after a grueling encounter against Omega Esports, Bennyqt expressed his gratitude towards ECHO’s management and his teammates for helping him overcome the struggles of balancing his time as a father and a pro player. According to him, the team made adjustments to their training sessions so he could spend more time with his family, especially his daughter.

ECHO made major adjustments for Bennyqt

5th March was a glorious day for the pro player Bennyqt as it was the day he officially became a father, as announced on his official Facebook handle.

“Hi Wanwan, now you’ll be watching daddy’s games here instead of mommy’s tummy,” captioned the post.

While this moment is worth celebrating, this responsibility may prove to be a challenge for Bennyqt both as a father and an MLBB pro player.

During a post-match press conference, ECHO's star gold laner expressed gratitude to his teammates for understanding his situation.

“Actually, for now, there are adjustments made in our practice and I’m very thankful to the management and the coaching staff for understanding my situation even though I haven’t participated in scrim-sessions [that much],” said Bennyqt.

While there are limitations to their training, the team remained optimistic and still managed to remain dominant in the fourth week of the Mobile Legends Professional League Philippines (MPL) PH Season 11.

“I’m happy that we still win in every scrim even though I’m only playing online and the comms [communication] are sometimes unclear sometimes. I know that my team thinks that I’m still there with them physically,” explained Bennyqt.
