One of the most popular Arena of Valor (AoV) esports pro players, Shin “JJak” Chang-hoon, has shifted to League of Legends: Wild Rift to play for team GLUK Gaming. The pro player is widely known for his achievement of holding three championship titles from different championship leagues from Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand. JJak will play as one of the substitute players on the team. GLUK Gaming along with 15 other Wild Rift teams will compete in the upcoming Wariwari Rumble 2021 tournament which will kick off on 9th Aug and will last until 24th Aug 2021.
AoV veteran player JJak joins GLUK Gaming’s Wild Rift team
The pro player was last seen during the Arena of Valor World Cup 2021 where he served as the coach for Team 3 Stars.
According to a post from Wild Rift Esports News, JJak will debut his career as a Wild Rift esports pro player under GLUK Gaming and will be participating in the upcoming Wariwari Rumble 2021 to compete for the privilege of representing Korea in the upcoming Wild Rift World Championship and the lion’s share of the $22,000 USD prize pool.

JJak has a proven track record that cements his position as one of the prominent AoV esports pros in Asia. He currently holds championship titles from different regional leagues such as the Penta Storm Premier League Summer 2017 in Korea, the Garena Challenger Series Summer 2018 in Taiwan, and the Realm of Valor (RoV) Pro League Season 3 in Thailand. He also led Bacon Time as the team’s coach in the Road to Glory 2020 where they secured first place in the qualifiers.
Mobile MOBA pro players transitioning to Wild Rift
A lot of mobile MOBA pro players have started to shift to playing Wild Rift. Aside from JJak, two of his former Talon Esports AoV teammates Kim ”HAK” Do-Yeop and Lee”Rush” Ho-Yeon have also shifted to Riot Games’ new mobile MOBA title and are playing under the Japanese Wild Rift esports team, Sengoku Gaming.
A former Mobile Legends pro player and content creator, SeongHun “Gosu Hoon” Jang, also announced his transition to Wild Rift and has joined the North American Wild Rift team, Immortals.
It will be interesting to see how these pro players can make use of the skills they acquired from other mobile MOBA titles to compete in future Wild Rift esports tournaments.
