Alter Ego announces revamped roster for MPL ID Season 9
Fans witnessed the dominance of Alter Ego back in the MPLI 2020 and the MPL ID Season 6. However, the ever-changing meta somehow caught the team off guard.
Alter Ego hasn’t been doing well in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports scene in Indonesia. The team finished 4th place in the MPL ID Season 8 which locked them out from participating in the biggest esports event for MLBB, the M3 World Championship. The team also finished 3rd-4th place in the MPLI 2021.
Following this, the team made changes to its roster, sending its star players Ahmad and Leomurphy to its MDL team while adding fresh new faces from its amateur team to the professional squad.
The team is composed of the following pro players;
Muhammad "Udil" julian Ardiansyah - Mid Lane
Eldin "Celiboy" Rahadian Putra - Jungle Lane
Syauki "Nino" Fauzan S - Gold Lane
Rafly "Pai" Alvareza Sudrajat - EXP Lane
Rasya "Rasy" Arga Wisita - Roamer
Ketut "Munsters" Rio Mahendra Putra
Prayoga "REXLONA” Naufal - Mid Lane
Devara "DECKOCH" Reynanda Putra - Roamer
Fahmi "AMYY" - Jungle Lane
With its revamped team roster, Alter Ego aims to redeem itself with the help of its promising amateur standouts and shall strive to take the championship title in the upcoming MPL ID Season 9. While fans will not be seeing Ahmad and Leomurphy in the professional league for a while, the debut of Alter Ego’s amateur players may be something worth following in the upcoming tournament.
