The open qualifiers are now nationwide and will no longer have separate qualifiers for Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
The Fall Season boasts a prize pool of ₱5 million ($101,447 USD) Globe Cup Points (GCP) which can be converted to cash equivalent to ₱1 each.

The 2021 Wild Rift: SEA Icon Series PH - Fall Season has arrived with a brand new format. Unlike the previous season, there will no longer be an open qualifier for Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. This means that everyone can participate in the upcoming 2021 Wild Rift: SEA Icon Series PH - Fall Season regardless of their team composition and location in the Philippines. The top four teams from the Summer Season are no longer required to participate in the qualifiers as they are guaranteed a slot in the Fall Season Group Stage. 2021 Wild Rift: SEA Icon Series PH - Fall Season Details

After the conclusion of the Summer Season, Philippine teams are now gearing for the upcoming Fall Season Cup. The upcoming season’s league will be nationwide and will no longer be divided into Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao Open Qualifiers.

The 2021 Wild Rift: SEA Icon Series PH - Fall Season boasts a prize pool of ₱5 million ($101,447 USD) Globe Cup Points (GCP) which can be converted to cash equivalent to ₱1 each. The crowned champions will also get a chance to participate in the next Wild Rift SEA Championship.

“As we continue to uphold our responsibility as the license holder of Riot Games esports in the country, we will continue to listen to our players’ and fans’ needs and continuously improve the experience,” stated Mineski Philippines’ manager, Mark Navarro, which also holds exclusive rights to host official Wild Rift esports events in the country.

2021 Wild Rift: SEA Icon Series PH - Fall Season Roadmap

Riot Games

The Open Qualifiers will have four groups with up to 256 teams each. The top three teams from each qualifier will proceed to the group stage. Additionally, the top four teams from the Summer Season; Amihan Esports, Team Secret, Liyab Esports, and Omega Esports are guaranteed a slot for the 2021 Wild Rift: SEA Icon Series PH - Fall Season’s group stage and are no longer required to participate in the open qualifiers.

The group stage will have four groups. Each of the top four teams from last season will be seeded randomly into one of the four groups. The top eight teams will proceed to the playoffs where they will compete for the championship title and the prize pool.

Tournament Schedule

  • Open Qualifiers:

    • Open Qualifiers 1: 1st-2nd July 2021

    • Open Qualifiers 2: 3rd-4th July 2021

    • Open Qualifiers 3: 8th-9th July 2021

    • Open Qualifiers 4: 10th-11th July 2021

  • Group Stage: 23rd July - 15th Aug 2021

  • Playoffs: TBD

Prize Pool Breakdown

Players who qualified for the group stage will start earning Globe Cup Points for every series they won. These points can be converted to cash by the end of each season. A total of ₱5 million ($101,447 USD) Globe Cup Points is up for grabs for the 2021 Wild Rift: SEA Icon Series PH - Fall Season.

For the group stage, teams will earn ₱75,000 GCP for each series won. The stakes are higher in the playoffs as teams from the lower bracket will earn ₱25,000 GCP for each series won while teams from the upper bracket will receive ₱75,000 per series won.

It will be interesting to see who will rise among the teams in the 2021 Wild Rift: SEA Icon Series PH - Fall Season and represent the country in the next iteration of the Wild Rift SEA Championship.
