It’s a known fact that mounts are the main way to travel around in World of Warcraft (WoW). These cute pets enhance your speed significantly and can be used in almost all outdoor areas. Thankfully for players, there are more options than ever for mounts in WoW Season of Discovery. The developers have added more mounts for the season while making some of the existing ones even easier to obtain. Let’s take a look at all the mounts in WoW Season of Discovery and how you can get them.
All Mounts in WoW Season of Discovery
Stranglethorn Vale Mounts (Phase 2)
WoW Season of Discovery Phase 2 saw the introduction of two new mounts for players to obtain -
Mottled Blood Raptor
Golden Sabercat
You can purchase these mounts from Mai’zin for one Gold Blood Coin each. Keep in mind that these mounts require intense fighting during the Blood Moon Event in the Stranglethorn Valve. We recommend doing this event as often as possible so you can easily obtain at least one of these two mounts.
Battle For Ashenvale Mounts (Phase 1)
WoW Season of Discovery Phase 1 also saw the introduction of two new mounts for players to obtain -
Trainee’s Outrider Wolf
Trainee’s Sentinel Nightsaber
You can get these two mounts by reaching Friendly with either Warsong Outriders (Horde) or Silverwing Sentinels (Alliance). After reaching the required reputation level with the choice of faction, you can obtain the mount for ten gold. Since the Battle of Ashenvale was significantly less popular after the release of SoD Phase 1, the best way to get a reputation with factions is by competing in the Warsong Gulch battleground.
Racial Mounts
In WoW, players can obtain a wide range of mounts based on the race they choose during their character creation. These useful mounts became available during SoD’s second phase, which raised the level cap to 40. You need to visit your race’s mount vendors to purchase a racial mount. They will cost you 80 gold each, but you can reduce the cost if you reach a certain reputation level with your home faction.
