IShowSpeed Lives Upto His Name As He Sprints in 40-Yard Dash

Darren Watkins Jr also known by his online name IShowSpeed, is an American YouTuber, streamer, entertainer and internet personality. He is known for his variety livestreams on YouTube where he primarily plays video games like Roblox, Fortnite, FIFA, and WWE 2K24. Recently, IShowSpeed livestreamed the NFL Combine event where he took part in a 40 yard dash. The streamer impressed his fans and following with his sprint and earned accolades online.

IShowSpeed Zooms Through NFL Combine 40 Yard Dash

The National Football League (NFL) is a major professional sports league which is predominant in the United States and Canada. It is also the highest professional level of American football there is in the world. The 40 yard dash tests an athlete's endurance, speed and acceleration and this is usually done before the NFL draft ot collegiate recruiting. An athlete's recorded time usually has a major impact on their prospects of joining their college team or participating in professional football. It is an important yardstick for players of all positions.

During the NFL Combine stream, IShowSpeed zoomed through the 40 yard dash in a record time of 4.4 seconds. Twitter user Speedy Updates wrote, "Speed is a freak athlete 😂 Bro ran a 4.4 in foam runners and hit all the marks for his vertical."

It should be mentioned that usually 4.5 seconds is considered good and IShowSpeed was faster than that, living up to his alias of 'Speed'.

Twitch Streamer Sketch Injured during NFL Combine

During the NFL Combine stream, Twitch star Kylie "Stretch" joined IShowSpeed. However, unfortunately, he seemingly tore his hamstring and was carried away on a stretcher to the hospital after he was hurt. This was after a scuffle with Speed and Sketch fell down to the ground, clutching his leg.

Speed has been in the spotlight for the past few weeks. During night of Wrestlemania 40, IShowSpeed had an unforgettable debut. Not only did his appearance help Logan Paul defend his title, but iShowSpeed also got RKO'd by Randy Orton, and then later got made fun of on Randy Orton's social media. However, even if it was just virtual, Speed got his revenge on Orton by pulling off an RKO on Randy Orton with his custom character in WWE 2K24 on a live stream.

After this newfound interest in WWE, Speed even proposed an idea to his viewers about a potential event where content creators can participate in WWE matches.
