Sega and Sports Interactive’s newest installment in the long list of Football Management games is almost on its way and several fans are overwhelmed with excitement. The newest game is being marketed as the most complete edition to date, bringing a host of new features along with graphical improvements so that you can be one of the best virtual managers to lead your squad to victory!
Because there are numerous Football Management games available for free, many might be wondering if this upcoming title by Sega will also follow the same trend. Without further ado, let’s jump right in and find out.
Is Sega’s Football Manager 2024 Available for Free?
Unfortunately, Football Manager 2024 will not be available for free, at least on PC and consoles. The game features several unique features that are not present in most of the free Management styles of games. It contains fully licensed teams, leagues, and competitions which are absent in similar games from other developers.
However, if you are looking forward to playing the game on your mobile device, there is a way to gain access for free. It only needs you to meet one pre-requisite and that is to have an active Netflix subscription. Once the game launches on 6th November, you can install FM 24 Mobile through the Netflix Mobile app. After installation, the game will appear on a separate “Games” row on iPhones and a distinct “Games” tab on Android devices.
Although the game shows up on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, you will still need to log in to your Netflix account to begin your Football journey. You must also note that this offer is available only on mobile devices. You cannot run FM 2024 on your TV or other such smart devices, even if it supports other features of Netflix.
This partnership between Sega and Netflix is a welcomed change, even though it might not seem that way at first glance. This is because the previous FM 23 was available for USD $9.99 / £9.99 / INR 999 on both Android and iOS. The new game will be available completely free of cost along with a growing library of games offered by Netflix Games.
