Inspired by the party game Mafia and the sci-fi horror movie ‘The Thing’, Among Us instantly became a huge hit. Though the online multiplayer deduction game was released in 2018, it blew in popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown. This multiplayer game developed and published by Innersloth is known for its collaborations with a number of TV series, movie franchises, and other games. After a successful partnership in 2022, Among Us and the Scream movie franchise are back once again this year.
Here’s all you need to know about the Scream collaboration with Among Us and how to get the Ghostface cosmetics in the game for free.
Ghostface Cosmetics in Among Us
On 7th July, Innersloth wrote, “Impostors! I hope you've been keeping your skills (and your knives) sharp cause our collaboration with SCREAM is back! Betray your friends, pet a pet, and sabotage your way to victory with the return of Ghostface!”
The developers noted that they had a great time partnering with Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media Group to celebrate the release of Scream V in 2022.
Now that Scream VI is available to watch digitally and is soon coming to 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on 11th July along with Director's Commentary and other bonus features, Among Us noted that it wanted to bring back the cosmetics again.
The Scream-themed cosmetics that players can claim for free are as follows:

Players should note that these Scream cosmetics will be available only for a short amount of time. They can be claimed until 21st July.

All you need to do to get your hands on the Ghostface mask and robes is simply log in to your Among Us account. Once you have successfully logged in, you will automatically receive the cosmetic items for free.
If you do not have an Among Us account, you will have to enter your age and create one. Only then you can access the following features:

At the end of June 2023, it was reported by Variety and confirmed by Innersloth that an animated series based on Among Us is in the works and has been okayed by CBS Studios. The creator of Cartoon Network and HBO Max’s Infinity Train will be leading the project.
Innersloth said, “We’re SO PUMPED and blown away we are getting this opportunity. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as more information comes out but for now just wanted to share the news!”
Notably, the Among Us show will follow the basic plot of the game with an imposter sabotaging the activities of the crew.
