As many fans patiently await the release of the 1.21 update to Minecraft, Mojang has released yet another preview for Bedrock which contains some experimental features along with numerous bug fixes. The preview 1.20.60.21 was released on 29th November and it contains experimental features such as volumetric fog, copper grate waterlogging, friends drawer, etc, which will possibly be added to the anticipated 1.21 version of the game. How to Download Minecraft Bedrock 1.20.60.21 Preview?
The Bedrock version of Minecraft is available on a variety of platforms such as Android, iOS, Xbox, and Windows. If you want to install this preview on your device, you need to follow these simple steps.
For Xbox Consoles
Accessing previews on Xbox is a pretty intuitive process as you can download them as a separate application so that it does not interfere with the full-release version of Minecraft already installed on the console. This can be done regardless of whether you own a full copy of the game or if you are playing it through the Game Pass. All you need to do is enter the Microsoft Store and search for “Minecraft preview”. Select this version of the preview and click on the download icon. This should add the application to your game library.
For Windows
Similar to Xbox users, PC gamers will also have to access the Microsoft Store to access the 1.20.60.21 preview. Considering that the store is interlinked with the official Minecraft launcher, you can download or update to the latest beta directly from the launcher. This can be done by navigating through the games list, selecting the Windows version, finding the latest preview, and installing it. However, if you already have a preview installed and would like to update to this new version, head to the store, navigate to the games tab under your library, and click on “get updates”
For Android and iOS
Installing the latest preview on Android requires you to navigate through the Play Store, head to the Minecraft page in it, and find the option called “Join Beta”. Upon doing so, follow the required prompts which will eventually install the latest beta to your device. Keep in mind that doing so will also remove the latest stable release.
Players who are trying to access the latest beta on iPhones must download the Apple Flightest app. Once the app is installed, navigate to the Testflight sign-up page for Minecraft. Enter your account information and head back into the app once you have successfully signed up for the beta. You can access all Minecraft previews through the app.
