EA FC 24's official release is just around the corner and players are hyped to join in and try out the first game of the incoming EA FC era. While, the confirmed EA FC 24 release date is 29th September (Friday), players with early access have been playing the game since 22nd September.
Though FC 24's PC release has so far been smooth and without hassles, a majority of the players who got the early access have been facing a "No Commentary" bug, unfortunately. As soon as the early access went live, the community brought this frustrating "No Commentary" bug to light.
At this point, the exact cause and solution are not concrete but players can try a few solutions to fix the "No Commentary" bug in EA FC 24.
How to fix EA FC 24 "No Commentary" bug
On 22nd September, a player wrote on the official EA Answers HQ, "I'm playing the early access, I have stereo settings and commentary volume on but still no commentary during matches. Can hear audio just fine (music, ball being kicked, audience)."
On the official EA Answers HQ page, almost 59 players complained of the same issue.
Another player commented, "It's so sad to spend all this money to have the early access and when you are about to just sit back and relax.... well, I hope they fix it as soon as possible, it's not the same without the commentary :/"
Here are some of the possible solutions you can try to fix the "no commentary" bug in EA FC 24:
1. Complete Integrity Check: If you purchased the game on Steam, you can do the integrity check and this way, all the corrupted files will be replaced.
2. Change game language on Steam: Users must note that this solution does not make a difference in most cases and is highly situational. After downloading EA FC 24, access its properties on Steam. Here you will find an option to select your language and now switch to a different one and start the game. Next, force close FC 24 and change the language back to English. This way, your language files will get downloaded again.
3. Change to custom camera: A few FC 24 players have reported that they were able to bypass the "No Commentary" bug by using the custom camera mode. For this, go to the in-game settings and switch to custom camera. Now, you can change the height and zoom of the camera and this has reportedly worked for a few.
While all the above-mentioned solutions are trial-and-error and are situational, the best solution for the bug is to wait for Electronic Arts to release a patch update very soon. Players should note that without knowing what has caused the game's language files to get corrupted, we cannot actually solve the "No Commentary" bug.
