Here is how to transfer FIFA Points to EA FC 24.

After EA’s recent parting with long-time partners FIFA, the developer is coming out with its first standalone title called EA Sports FC 24. This has led to many questions regarding not only why the split happened, but how it affects players, with some wondering about things like links between games and how to transfer FIFA points to EA Sports FC 24.

While EA Sports FC 24 will be available on platforms like the PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, crossplay will be limited. What does that mean for elements like FIFA points? Can FIFA points be transferred to EA FC 24? Let’s look at what can be transferred.

How to transfer FIFA Points to EA FC 24

The first time you access Ultimate Team, Clubs or VOLTA in EA FC 24, you will see a popup asking you to allow transfer of your FIFA Points to EA FC 24. You’ll have three options to transfer your points. You’ll get a message saying you have outstanding FIFA Points balance. You can choose to convert your whole Points balance from FIFA 23 to FC 24. You can also choose to leave your FIFA 23 Points untouched. If you have not decided yet, you can also opt to decide later.

You will get this popup, asking you to transfer FIFA Points to EA FC 24.

Note that once you select ‘Yes, I want to transfer and convert my entire Points balance from FIFA 23 to FC 24’, it is not reversible. Once you have transferred your Points balance to FC 24, you will not be able to transfer it back. You will also not be able to transfer any more Points post this. Also note that you will only be able to transfer points from the same console. For example, you can transfer your points from FIFA 23 to EA FC 24 on Xbox Series X|S, but you can’t transfer your points from FIFA 23 on Xbox Series X|S to EA FC 24 on PlayStation 5.

FIFA 23’s compatibility with EA Sports FC 24

With the game retaining features like Ultimate Team, the question about FC points comes up or if players can transfer things like FC Points. Players have been able to transfer from previous EA FIFA titles like with FIFA 23, and according to FIFAUTeam, FC Points (virtual currency used in all its titles) can be transferred to EA Sports FC 24.

Players have the option to keep their balance in FUT 23 or transfer them out to FC 24 before 31st December, 2023. Keep in mind that it is a one-time transfer, once you get your FC Points into FC 24, you won’t be able to revert the points back to FIFA 23.

EA Sports FC 24 carryover and crossplay

Older players can get certain game data transferred over from earlier titles including FIFA 23, like FC Points and your UT Club Profile, to the newer game. You can transfer over your FIFA 23 data and items to FC 24 with the following:

  • Open the title in your console.

  • Follow the on-screen instructions.

  • When prompted, confirm if you want to carry over your data and items.

Game Modes like Ultimate Team and VOLTA FOOTBALL will see some progress transfer to the new game, you will lose your Career Mode, Online Friendlies, Pro Clubs (the new Clubs) if you quit FIFA 23. You can only do a one-time transfer for Markets on consoles like PlayStation and Xbox. Nintendo Switch and Windows (PC) have their own markets. Note that cross platform-play will not be available for the new FC game. Each platform will have its in-game data and items individually.
