Diablo 4’s basic gameplay loop consists of completing quests, side quests, and grinding loot to upgrade your character. The action RPG’s main story progression has a total of six Acts which feature a number of quests to complete. Most quests in Diablo 4 are easy to figure out, but newer players of the franchise may find completing side quests like Brought to Heel challenging. While Brought to Heel is a minor quest in terms of rewards, many players complete it to earn Hawezar Renown. Here is all you need to know to complete Brought to Heel in Diablo 4.
Brought to Heel in Diablo 4: Steps to complete
Brought to Heel is a side quest in Diablo 4 that can be initiated in Act 4 by speaking with Lumir. You will find him on the Forsaken Coast in Hawezar. Head to the town of Backwater where you’ll find Lumir on the northern docks near the water.
Here you can speak to Lumir who will ask you to collect red mushrooms for him to deal with Glin. The area where you can collect red mushrooms is slightly to the north of Backwater. Head over to the area marked by the blue circle. This is where the quest gets slightly tricky as players will need to sweep a large area of land and fight any enemies along the way while finding those red mushrooms for Lumir. The wild red mushrooms are located next to a puddle, roughly in the center of the marked blue region.
Here is where you need to head to collect the quest item. Look for red clumps on the ground next to the puddle. Approach the clump and you’ll be prompted to pick up the item.
You will pick up a sack of wild red mushrooms as a quest item to complete the quest. This item cannot be salvaged or sold. You only need to deliver one sack of wild red mushrooms to Lumir to complete Brought to Heel in Diablo 4. Make your way back to Lumir and hand over the quest item. Most players complete this side quest for the Hawezar Renown which is useful for acquiring extra healing potions. Another such small side quest which you can complete to earn Renown is Reject the Mother or you can even earn some through Altars of Lilith Progression.
