While Diablo 4’s early access was granted to those who purchased the Deluxe and Ultimate editions of the game, the official launch of Diablo IV begins only on 5th June at 4 pm PDT. To commemorate this launch, Blizzard Entertainment announced a Diablo 4 Twitch Drops event that is going to be held for four weeks. The Diablo 4 Twitch Drops event will kick off soon and will continue till the end of June, giving players plenty of time to earn exclusive cosmetics for their favorite class in the game.

By participating in this Twitch Drops event, you are eligible to unlock weapon skins and other exclusive cosmetics.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Twitch Drops event for Diablo 4.

Diablo 4 Twitch Drops Event: Frequently Asked Questions

The most frequently asked questions (FAQs) for the Diablo 4 Twitch event are:

  • Who can participate in the event? Do players need to own the game?

  • How long do you have for claiming before the reward expires?

  • How is time calculated towards watch progress?

Notably, you can own any edition of Diablo 4 to gain progress toward these Twitch drops. Likewise, you can earn progress towards a drop from watching any eligible Diablo 4 content creator on Twitch. For example, you can watch half an hour on one channel and then switch to another channel without losing your progress. However, watching only one channel at a time will count toward your progress.

Make sure to link your Battle.net and Twitch accounts since earned Twitch Drop rewards will expire seven days after they’ve been claimed if a Battle.net account has not been linked.

With these FAQs out of our way, let us look at the dates of the Drops event and the rewards planned for each week!
