The brothers Yasuo and Yone are getting significant buffs in LoL Patch 12.7.
Riot Games is likely buffing these champions to offset the Immortal Shieldbow and healing nerfs that were released in LoL Patch 12.6.
Both the champions are getting their Ultimate cooldown reduced and additionally, Riot is also increasing Yasuo’s base HP.

Yasuo and Yone, the half-brothers in League of Legends, very rarely make it past the champion select screen. But when they do, the champions have a lasting impact on the game. According to the popular opinion of the League of Legends community, the two brothers are among the “most broken” champions in the game.

The system nerfs and adjustments to items like Immortal Shieldbow, Vampiric Scepter, and Legend: Bloodline to combat sustain and healing may have affected Yone and Yasuo and now Riot Games is buffing them both in LoL Patch 12.7.

Yasuo and Yone are among the ten champions that are slated for buffs in the upcoming patch which is aimed at shaking up the meta's dominant picks. The detailed post by Associate Game Designer Tim “Truexy” Jiang gave insight into what is really changing in the kits of Yasuo and Yone.

Yasuo and Yone: Pick and Win rates

Before getting into the details of the buffs, let us look at the stats of Yasuo and Yone in the last two patches to understand where Riot is coming from. The stats are sourced from U.GG.

Yasuo and Yone

For the last two patches, Yone and Yasuo have been in the D tier with win rates lower than 50% in Platinum and higher ranks across the world.

Yasuo buffs in LoL Patch 12.7

Yasuo, the unforgiven, is getting two major buffs in LoL Patch 12.7. They are:

  • An increase in base HP.

  • Reduction in cooldown of Ultimate spell at early levels in the game.

Currently, on LoL Patch 12.6, Yasuo’s base health is 490 and Riot is increasing this to 520 at level 1. Additionally, Yasuo’s R - Last Breath has cooldowns of 80/55/30 seconds at the moment.

Yasuo Base Health stats

While casting Last Breath, Yasuo blinks to an airborne enemy champion, dealing physical damage and holding all airborne enemies in the area up in the air. It grants maximum flow but resets all stacks of Gathering Storm. For a moderate time afterward, Yasuo's critical strikes gain significant Bonus Armor Penetration.

In essence, Yasuo Q - Steel Tempest, its second cast Gathering Storm, and Last Breath are vital to making plays on him. Yasuo is a champion that can push out the side lanes constantly and can duel almost any champion. The beauty of playing Yasuo is that one could have a KDA of 0/10/0 and still be useful in the game by farming up minions and buying the right items.

Now, in LoL Patch 12.7, the cooldown of Last Breath will go down to 70 in the first ultimate rank and stay the same at level 3 rank. This cooldown reduction will grant Yasuo players to be more proactive and look to cast more ultimates in team fights.

LoL Patch 12.7 buffs Yone

Yone’s buffs are quite similar to Yasuo’s. In LoL Patch 12.7, Riot Games is reducing the cooldown of Yone’s R - Fate Sealed.

While casting Fate Sealed, Yone blinks behind the last champion in a line with a slash so powerful it pulls all enemies hit towards him.

Currently, the cooldown of this ability at the three ranks is 120/100/80 seconds, respectively. In the upcoming patch, the cooldowns will be reduced to 120/90/60 seconds.
