xQc was the target of stream snipers during his last Twitch stream.
Stream sniping has become a common nuisance in Call of Duty games.

Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel was frustrated by stream snipers while playing Call of Duty: Warzone on his last stream. The streamer was constantly being hunted by other players who kept downing him. He remarked “It’s like sniper express this game, it’s just unfun. It’s impossible to fight off all the snipers, there’s too many of them.” after declaring “I’m just done dude” upon being punched and downed by an enemy.

The streamer got even more enraged when viewers suggested to delay his stream to stop getting sniped saying, “You got me, I have to do it otherwise I want to get sniped, and then what?”. xQc continued saying, “What do you mean ‘I make so many excuses?’ I drop in the middle of nowhere and I get eight players on me, what are you on about....? Of course it’s sniping. Nobody is going to contest that.”

Stream Sniping’s Impact On Call of Duty Games

Stream sniping is disrupting a streamer’s game by watching the live broadcast to gain game-changing information and target them in game. In FPS games like Call of Duty: Warzone or Fortnite, stream snipers will watch the stream to figure out where the streamer has landed and their current gear situation to hunt them down.

In May this year Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag’s $100,000 USD Warzone tournament was also stream sniped. Fellow 100 Theives streamer and pro player Tom “Tommey” Trewren also faced a similar, frustrating experience and had asked devs to fix the Streamer Mode.
