Riot Games has finally announced details about the upcoming Valorant Champions Tour 2023 Ascension (VCT 2023 Ascension) for all three regions - Pacific, EMEA, and Americas.
The winning teams of all regional Valorant Challengers League (VCL) events will qualify for their respective Ascension tournaments - VCT 2023 Ascension Pacific, VCT 2023 Ascension EMEA, and VCT 2023 Ascension Americas.
These three tournaments will act as the final step of the ladder that promotes the respective Ascension winners to the international leagues during VCT 2024 and VCT 2025.

VCT 2023 Ascension Pacific
This event will bring competitive Valorant to Bangkok, Thailand, where all ten days of competition will take place in front of a live studio audience.
Date: 28th June to 9th July
Teams: 10
Location: Bangkok, Thailand
Venue: Queen Sirikit National Convention Center
Qualified Teams
A total of ten teams through various VCL events from across the Asia Pacific will represent their respective region or country. However, only one of them will make it to the VCT 2024/2025: Pacific League.
Format
This tournament has been divided into two stages, Group Stage and Playoffs.
Group Stage | 28th June to 4th July
All the participants will be divided into two groups of five teams each.
They will follow a single round-robin format where each match will feature a best-of-three series.
The top three teams from each group will move to the next stage, with winners directly advancing to the semifinals, second and third-placed teams advancing to the quarterfinals.
Playoffs | 7th to 9th July
The six qualified teams, three from each group, will compete in a single elimination bracket.
Here each match will feature a best-of-three series except for the grand final which will host a best-of-five bout.
The winning team will qualify for both VCT 2024 Pacific League and VCT 2025 Pacific League.

VCT 2023 Ascension EMEA
This event will also take place in Berlin, Germany, at the exact same venue where the ongoing VCT 2023 EMEA League is currently taking place.

The winning team will qualify for both VCT 2024 EMEA League and VCT 2025 EMEA League.

VCT 2023 Ascension Americas
This event will take place in São Paulo, Brazil, split between two different locations. The initial stage will take place in Riot Games Brazil studio and the final stage will take place at a venue yet to be decided.

In the first revamped competitive season of Valorant, more than 20 challenger leagues were organized across three major regions to develop the next generation of Valorant talent.
Ascension will be the culmination of the first-ever challengers season and it seems to have the potential to become one of the most exciting annual Valorant events. It will be exciting to see which teams go on to compete in the international leagues next year onwards!
