The premier Valorant regional league for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2023 EMEA League, is currently taking place from 27th March to 28th May featuring a total prize pool of $250,000 USD (INR 2,06,62,125).

All the ten partner teams from the region will be competing in this event, fighting for a chance to qualify for VCT 2023: Masters Tokyo and Valorant Champions 2023.

This league will be comprised of weekly matches, starting with a super week during which daily matches will be played from Monday to Friday. Here are the complete details for the event like teams, results, schedule, format, where to watch, and more.

Just two weeks after the conclusion of the VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo, partner teams from across the EMEA region have gathered once again in Berlin, Germany where the stakes are higher than ever before.

Out of the 30 franchise teams, ten are from the EMEA region and all of them will be seen in action at the VCT 2023 EMEA League.

The regional league has been broadly divided into two stages, starting with the regular season which comprises the league stage, to then culminating with the playoffs through which the top three teams will be shortlisted.

Format

Regular Season

  1. All the partnered teams will take on each other once following a simple round robin format.

  2. Every match in the league stage will feature a best-of-three series.

  3. The first week, 27th to 31st March, will play out as a super week where matches will be played from Monday to Friday

  4. In the next seven weeks, 5th April to 19th May, the matches will take place on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

  5. Based on the overall scoreboard, the top six teams will qualify for the next stage while the bottom four teams will be eliminated.

Playoffs

  1. The six qualified teams will take on each other in a double elimination bracket from 23rd to 28th May.

  2. All the matches will follow a best-of-three series except for the 'lower bracket final' and 'grand final' where best-of-five series will be played.

  3. The top three teams will qualify for both VCT 2023: Masters Tokyo and Valorant Champions 2023.

Prizepool

The total prizepool of $250,000 USD will be split between the top six teams, among those that manage to qualify for the playoffs through the regular season.

Addtionally, the top three teams will be qualifying for Masters Tokyo and VCT Champions, while the remaining seven teams will drop down to the VCT 2023: EMEA League Last Chance Qualifier.
