Valorant Convergence 2023 India Closed Qualifiers: Teams, Schedule, Format, Streams & More

Valorant Convergence 2023 is the first ever international Valorant tournament hosted by Riot Games in India. The event will be hosted in partnership with local Tournament Organizers, The Esports Club (TEC). The event is a part of the ongoing VCT 2023 OFF Season cycle and will see participation of Riot partnered teams. The tournament will be played on LAN and is set to take place from 14th to 17th December at the Manpho Convention Center, Bengaluru.

Valorant Convergence 2023 India Closed Qualifiers Detailed

The Convergence 2023 event is only the second A Tier Valorant tournament to take place in India this year. The tournament will be played in a double elimination format with the winner securing a place in the Convergence 2023 main event. The India closed qualifiers will feature 6 invited teams with 4 playing the Quarter Finals and two directly invited to the Semi Finals.

Format

• The six invited teams will play in a double elimination format in a Best of 3 (Bo3) series.

• Four teams have been invited to play the Quarter Finals and two directly to the Semi Finals. 

• The Grand Finals of the India closed qualifiers will be played in a Best of 5 (Bo5) series.

• Winner of the India closed qualifiers will secure a spot in the Convergence 2023 main event.

Where to watch Convergence 2023 India closed qualifiers?

The India closed qualifiers Grand Finals will be live streamed on the official TEC Youtube Channel on 2nd and 3rd December. Fans will also be able to watch the LAN event on the Youtube Channel. More details for the LAN event are yet to be revealed.

The main event will have Riot partnered teams from the Valorant Championship Tour (VCT) Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC). The event will be a great opportunity for teams like Global Esports to showcase their skill as the team has had a major roster overhaul.
