Valorant Champions Tour APAC Last Chance Qualifier Announced

Valorant Champions Tour APAC Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) will kick off in October according to a press release by Riot Games.
The event will feature a total of 10 teams from Asia who will compete for a single slot in the Valorant Champions event.
The top seeds from all three VCT stages and the winners of the LCQ qualifiers will be competing for the Valorant world championships.

The Valorant Asia Pacific (APAC) Last Chance Qualifier which will see teams from across Asia compete for qualification to the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) event, was officially announced by Riot Games in a Press Release. Teams that were unable to qualify for Valorant Stage 3 Masters Berlin will get one final chance to be a part of the world championships which will take place at the end of 2021. In the Valorant APAC Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) event, teams from Southeast Asia, South Asia, China, Korea, and Japan will fight through a double-elimination bracket to decide who will be the final representative from the region at Champions. Here is everything you need to know about the APAC LCQ event.

APAC Last Chance Qualifier overview

Ten teams will be competing from all eligible Valorant Champions Tour regions in a bid to be a part of Champions. The teams participating in the event will include the highest circuit point holders who have not already qualified for Champions.

Valorant Champions Tour format

Here are the slots reserved for each region:

  • Southeast Asia - 3

  • China - 2

  • Korea - 2

  • Japan - 2

  • South Asia - 1

The APAC Last Chance Qualifier will kick off on 13th October and will continue till 17th October. The format of the event is yet to be decided and we will get a closer look as we approach the tournament dates.

Valorant Champions overview

The top seeds from Valorant Masters events and the APAC Last Chance Qualifiers winners from each region will be heading to the Champions event in December 2021. North American (NA) team, Sentinels is the first and only organization to qualify for the Valorant Champions Tour via circuit points so far. It not only won all three NA Challengers playoffs, but it also won all three Masters events.

The Valorant Champions Tour kicked off in February 2021 and after three sets of qualifiers, challengers, and Masters events, the year-long event is heading into its final stage. Players can catch up on all of the action at:
