Apex Legends’ Prestige skins have been controversial, to say the least. A part of the playerbase dislikes the addition of cosmetics and prefers Heirlooms instead. But the new Valkyrie Prestige skin is making many reconsider. It is one of the coolest-looking skins in the game and stands out from her other Legendary options. Here is a look at Valkyrie’s Prestige skin in Apex Legends which you will be able to grab from a collection event very soon.
Valkyrie’s Prestige Skin will be available later this season
According to leaker KralRindo’s leak which surfaced earlier today, Valkyrie’s Prestige skin will feature a special finisher and a dive trail. Just like other Prestige skins you have to unlock Tier 2, Tier 3 and the unique finisher by dealing damage to complete objectives.
You can switch between the tiers at any point depending on your personal preferences. The Finisher is reminiscent of the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam from the animated mecha series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny.
How to unlock Valkyrie’s Prestige Skin in Apex Legends
When Valkyrie’s Collection event drops later this season, you can purchase special Collection Event Packs that are guaranteed to have one event item. Once you unlock 24 Collection event items, you will automatically get Valkyrie’s new Prestige Skin. Each pack costs 700 Apex Coins and some store bundles or an EA Play subscription can bring down the cost.
Note: You cannot get duplicate event items in Collection Event Packs.
You can also spend crafting materials to reduce the number of packs you need to buy or even craft every item in the event. Alternatively, if you happen to own 150 Heirloom Shards, you can spend the currency to get the skin after the Collection Event ends.
