SkRossi talks about the experience of playing his debut match against Talon Esports in the VCT 2023 Pacific League.
SkRossi compares how he felt competing in this league compared to his previous outing at the VCT 2023 LOCK//IN Sao Paulo.
This was also SkRossi's first official game in the VCT circuit where he played with Jett against another competing team.

The leading Valorant player from the South Asia region, Ganesh "SkRossi" Gangadhar, finally got a chance to compete with Global Esports in Seoul, South Korea at the ongoing VCT 2023: Pacific League against Talon Esports.

This was also the first time SkRossi played with his marquee agent Jett in a proper match, registering a K/D/A of 18/17/9 on Icebox and helping his team achieve its first win of the event.

During the post-match interview, SkRossi shared his experience of finally debuting in the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) Pacific League, after facing massive delays due to visa issues, alongside his teammate Abhirup "Lightningfast" Choudhury.

SkRossi shares his VCT 2023 Pacific League debut experience against Talon Esports: "It wasn't that hard"

Global Esports stepping out with Lightningfast and SkRossi in consecutive maps was certainly a curveball that caught the fans by surprise. This change in tactic worked as both players took the stage with their most preferred agents, Raze and Jett respectively.

After the match, SkRossi spoke about his experience playing in the VCT Pacific League and pointed out that unlike his debut at VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo, he felt more relaxed and composed.

"I mean after LOCK//IN this was pretty much ok for me, it wasn't pressured or that hard you know," said SkRossi, comparing this event to the previous one he added, "At LOCK//IN it was like a whole new experience for me, I was telling my teammates this was nothing other than a normal tournament, but then I started getting the vibe of the tournament and I wasn't comfortable. However, now here I feel at home, so it's fine."

Talking about his performance on Jett, SkRossi did pretty fine on Icebox which was Talon's map pick. It was a closely contested map where he managed to drop an ACS (Average Combat Score) of 226, keeping up with the pace of the game and delivering well for the side.

This marked the first win for Global Esports not only in the VCT 2023 Pacific League but across the international competitive circuit. It was a crucial victory that will provide the team with a boost of confidence as they go up against Paper Rex next on 22nd April.
