Rocket League Season 4 is launching with a brand new 2v2 tournament mode, a new arena, new vehicle, and more.
There are three limited-time events lined up for the new season which will be available starting this week.
The new season pass is priced at 1,000 credits ($9.99) and it includes over 70 levels of unlockable cosmetics.

Rocket League Season 4 is set to release today at 8 AM PDT (3 PM UTC) with a brand-new Arena called Deadeye canyon. The highlight of the new season is the 2v2 tournament mode which will be available across all servers. Players will be able to earn Tournament Points by competing in weekly tournaments and earn rewards. A new car, Outlaw, is being added to the game which will be available with the seasonal Rocket Pass. The Rocket League Season 4 Rocket Pass is priced at 1,000 Credits ($9.99) with over seventy levels of unlockable cosmetics.

In addition to the new Rocket Pass and vehicle, here is everything else that is being added to the new season of Rocket League.

Outlaw Rocket League

New Arena: Deadeye Canyon

Deadeye Canyon is being added in Season 4 as the game’s newest arena, which will be available in all standard Playlists when Season 4 launches.

Competitive Tournaments

In addition to the 3v3 weekly tournaments, additional 2v2 tournaments are being added. The number of 2v2 tournaments available each week will be dependent on which region you play in. There will also be Extra Mode tournaments, which players can participate in for fun without risking their tournament modes. All tournament rewards are being refreshed for Rocket League Season 4, and players can participate in either 2v2 or 3v3 tournaments to earn the new seasonal rewards.

Limited-time Events

A new 2v2 Heatseeker event will kick off as the featured limited-time event for Rocket League Season 4 on 12 August. Speed Demon is the second event of the new season and it will be available on 19 August. Spring Loaded is the third featured event of this season, and Psyonix has hinted that it will be a variant of the Rumble mode.

New Features in Rocket League Season 4

Streamer Safe Music mode

A new Audio Setting is being added so streamers and content creators can turn off copyright protected music. By checking the "Streamer Safe Music (Only)" box in Audio Settings, DMCA protected audio will be muted or replaced by music that is free to use. This setting will affect both Rocket League Radio as well as Player Anthems.

Party rank restrictions

Players who duo queue in 3v3 playlists will have to be within three ranks of each other to play. The change is being made to ensure that the third player who will be found via matchmaking is roughly the same rank as their teammates.

Changes to casual matches

Players who continually leave casual more than once a day. There is also a new forfeit feature for casual matches similar to ranked mode.
