Riot Games is celebrating the first-year anniversary of Arcane with the community.
It has planned a simple event spread over ten days to commemorate the milestone.

It has been a year since League of Legends fans and others were treated to a spectacle in the form of Arcane. Piltover, Zaun, and the many League of Legends characters are still echoing in our minds. Successfully, the community has survived a year without a new season, feeding on crumbs that were dropped by Riot Games and Fortiche Production at regular intervals. Notably, Riot Games is celebrating this milestone with an Arcane event. The official Arcane handle on Twitter revealed that various events will be held over ten days to celebrate Arcane’s first anniversary.

What to expect from the Arcane event?

It is safe to say that Arcane was the biggest hit of 2021, taking the animation and story-telling worlds by storm. Though it was short with just nine episodes, the series managed to capture so many beautiful emotions through its thoroughly planned script, music, and art. Season 2 of Arcane is in the works as confirmed by Riot Games and Fortiche and fans will likely see more content from other regions in Runeterra.

While we wait patiently for the next season, Riot Games has planned a one-year-anniversary event. A few of the events were teased behind a “redacted” title but fans will be soon interacting with the big shots behind the production of Arcane.

According to the announcement, the following are the events that fans can look forward to:

  • 8th November: Creators of Arcane, Christian Linke and Alex Yee, are hosting a Reddit ask-me-anything (AMA) at 10 AM PST and fans will be able to pose questions about the show’s development, its lore, and its multi-faceted characters.

  • 9th November: [Redacted] Drop. It is clear that something will be dropping but Riot Games has not revealed anything but that. It could be a new merch line or a new BTS video from the making of Arcane.

  • 16th November: Riot Games’ collaboration with Rocklove Jewelry will go live on 16th November and will likely feature jewelry based on the show.

  • 18th November: Remixes. At first, the company had not specified what songs were getting remixed. However, on 7th November, Riot Games stated, “‘Playground’ and ‘Goodbye’ are great, but what if we added a bit of ✨shimmer✨” The remixes of these two songs can now be pre-saved.

Notably, Riot also released footage from the making of its hit series titled Arcane: Bridging the Rift on YouTube in August. It featured five episodes and they dealt with different aspects of the show and its making.
