S8UL Esports was named as the 'Content Group of the Year', fighting above its weight class against nine other big-league organizations.
Celebration by members of S8UL Esports upon receiving the award has gone viral across the Indian gaming community.

One of the top esports organizations from India, S8UL Esports, has achieved a huge feat by winning the award for ‘Content Group of the Year’ at the Esports Awards 2022.

They have created history by becoming the first Indian organization to win a global award, elevating esports in the country to a whole new level, while gaining recognition and respect from the better established western peers.

S8UL Esports was one of the ten finalists that was shortlisted for this category alongside other big-league organizations like 100 Thieves, FaZe Clan, LOUD, One True King, OfflineTV, and more.

This is what the co-founders of S8UL Esports, Naman "MortaL" Mathur, Animesh "Thug" Agarwal, and Lokesh "Goldy" Jain, had to say about this massive achievement which is receiving heaps of appreciation from across the globe.

S8UL Esports was up against nine other esports organizations from around the world for 'Content Group of the Year' at the Esports Awards 2022, creating history in the process by claiming this award.

  1. 100 Thieves

  2. FaZe Clan

  3. One True King

  4. G4 TV

  5. Tribo Gaules

  6. OfflineTV

  7. Full Squad Gaming

  8. Team Summertime

  9. S8UL Esports

  10. LOUD

Talking about this achievement Goldy said, "I talk a lot with fans, with creators and with everyone, but today I am speechless. The journey we have mapped together as a team seems like a blur and a vivid memory all at once. What looks like a winning moment, is actually made up of those 100s of little moments everyday, where we put in the hard work, miss special personal events, sacrifice sleep, go through lows, brainstorm, rise again and create, create, create content like we mean it. It's such a moment, for all of us. Three cheers for the team!"

Similar feelings were portrayed by Thug, who labelled this moment as the biggest motivator for S8UL Esports to take things to a whole new level in 2023, going bigger than ever before.

"Love us or really love us, but we are, as of 10:35 AM IST today, officially the 'global content group of the year' and no one can take that away! So then, do dreams come true? As of now, I can proudly say that they can," expressed Thug, "We dreamt, we worked and clearly we’ve done something right, to be here today! And that's all I ever wanted, for us to do a lot of small rights, winning the right to win big.”

Lastly, MortaL also spoke on this achievement, "If we have learnt anything today, it's that a group of passionate people, sitting somewhere in a ‘developing’ country CAN create history. Seeing us being celebrated by the global esports community, it's a real feeling. It's really time to pause, reflect and feel happy. But we also have one eye on the future and we hope to break all records."
