Riot Games is rolling out some turret gold changes along with balance updates to a list of champions in LoL Patch 13.23.
A total of 10 champions are getting balance changes to their kits, of which some are buffs and the rest are nerfs.
Here's all you need to know about LoL Patch 13.23.

LoL Patch 13.23 in League of Legends will be focusing on some turret gold changes and further balance tweaks to champions like K'Sante and Riven from the previous patch. Riot Games noted that it's current focus is on stabilizing the game for end of season climbs for players.

It also noted that champion like Orianna and Syndra, who are very strong in the elite ranks, will not be nerfed. "In regular play, these champs are pretty balanced, so we're leaving them as is, rather than putting them back in a pro jail. They'll be a bit strong in elite for the last few patches of the year," noted League of Legends Lead Gameplay Designer Matt “Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison on Twitter.

Having said all that, here are the changes coming in LoL Patch 13.23.

Tower Gold Changes in LoL Patch 13.23

Riot Games is looking to add some more snowball power after having nerfed it over many patches in the past. Now, with LoL Patch 13.23, destroying towers or turrets will grant more local gold to players. These changes only apply to inner and inhibitor turrets but will grant a nice bonus to split-pushing top laners.

Phroxzon said, "Adding gold back to these side lane objectives hopes to make this strategy more viable, even if top and mid are feeling a little strong right now."

  • Local Gold increased: 550 >>> 675

  • Global Gold decreased: 50 >>> 25
