LoL Ocean Song Showcase: Missions, Rewards, & More

LoL Patch 12.11 went live on 8th June and it brought to the fore the new Ocean Song skins. This time around Riot Games is not having a separate event to commemorate the release of the Ocean Song skins but the company has now introduced a new and improved showcase milestone and milestone missions. Showcase Milestones are a part of Phase two of the game’s Mythic Content Overhaul.

By opening event capsules, players will be able to track their Showcase Milestone in the client. But while this comes at a greater cost it also offers better rewards since players will be able to collect skin shards and other in-game rewards. The Ocean Song Showcase Milestone is live in League of Legends and will run for two weeks till 1st July.

Product Lead on events, loot, and skins at Riot Games, Adriaan "KenAdamsNSA" Noordzij wrote on Twitter that the Ocean Song Showcase is an improvement over the Eclipse event. He said, “Prestige Seraphine will be in the Mythic Shop until patch 12.13, a few weeks longer than Senna was. We've added Ocean Song champ permanents to milestones. Open these first to avoid skin dupes!”

Ocean Song Showcase Missions

There is no event pass for the Ocean Song release and hence the showcase missions are free. Players do not need to purchase anything to complete them.

The following are the Ocean Song missions for matchmade games only and their rewards:

• Jam Session: Play 1 game in a premade group or earn 500 points from playing or winning games for 150 Blue Essence
  

• Man the Merch Table: Earn 15K gold or earn 500 points from playing or winning games for 350 Blue Essence
  

• Good Vibes Only!: Earn 40 Crowd Control (CC) score or earn 750 points from playing or winning games for 1 Mystery Emote permanent
  

• Music Therapy: Heal 10K Health or earn 750 points from playing or winning games for 1 Hextech Key
  

• Beach Cleanup: As a team, slay 5 epic monsters or earn 750 points from playing or winning games for 1 Hextech Chest
  

Players can buy Ocean Song Capsules for 750 RP each during the Ocean Song Showcase. With each capsule containing three skin shards, players will have to open 25 capsules to complete the Showcase milestone.

The Ocean Song Showcase features five epic tier skins and a prestige skin for Seraphine. Players can access the Prestige Ocean Song Seraphine from the Mythic Shop. The other skins can be bought either from the store or by completing missions on the Ocean Song Showcase milestones.
