League of Legends New Empyrean Skins 2024: Champions, Price & More

Riot Games introduces numerous skins and cosmetics at regular intervals in League of Legends and there are thousands of skins in the game. While there skin lines that portray sci-fi and cyberpunk-ish feels, there are a lot more that look absolutely ethereal and stunning. One such beautiful skin collection in League of Legends is the Empyrean one.

League of Legends players are preparing to be transcended into a land filled with vivid colors yet again as Riot Games has introduced a new lineup of champions to the Empyrean skin collection, right in time for the first international tournament of the year: Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) 2024.

Here's all you need to know about the new Empyrean skins in League of Legends in 2024.

New Empyrean Skins in League of Legends for MSI 2024

For MSI 2023, Riot Games introduced an exclusive event pass and bundles and introduced a new skinline called Inkshadow. Thsi time year, the tournament does not have a new skinline, but it is bringing back the fan-favorite Empyrean skins for players to get their hands on. A total of six new champions will be donning a new Empyrean look coming next month in May.

According to the official lore, Neon Strata is a series of alternate universe skins in League of Legends. It is set in a world where the Foreglow transforms champions into an otherworldly force called Empyrean. It adds, "The first Empyrean, Pyke, tears through the realms on a destructive rampage against his counterparts, birthing new Empyreans in the process. Who will reign supreme as these new powerhouses emerge, and what will they do with their rapidly dwindling time left?"

The new champions who will be added to this skinline are as follows:

• Nocturne

• Varus

• Brand

• Malzahar

• Akali

• Kayle

At the time of writing, we are unsure of the pricing of these skins and this will be updated as and when we learn of the RP they individually cost.

Meanwhile, Empyrean Kayle will also be receiving a Prestige edition of the skin. Notably, all the six new Empyrean skins went live on League of Legends' Public Beta Environment (PBE) on 16th April and they will officially debut on 1st May, right in time for the return of Arena mode and the start of Mid-Season Invitational 2024.

At Worlds 2022, when Riot Games debuted this skin collection, it also released a song called 'Fire to Fuse' sang by Kpop singer and performer Jackson Wang.
