League of Legends Milio Revealed: Release Date, Abilities Rundown & More

Riot Games officially unveiled the latest champion to hit the Summoner’s Rift: Milio, the gentle flame, on 6th March. According to the lore, Milio is a young boy from a village on the border of Ixtal, where his family was exiled generations ago. He uses his fire axiom to help and heal others. Milio, under pressure to return his family to their former glory within the Yun Tal, leaves his village and is on an adventure into the wilds of Ixtal. His backpack is called furnasita, where he carries his flame. Notably, Milio also has no formal training. 

“Having traveled through the Ixtal jungles to the capital of Ixaocan, Milio now prepares to face the Vidalion and join the Yun Tal, unaware of the trials—and dangers—that awaits him,” reads his official biography. Notably, some of the champions related to Milio in the game are Qiyana, Nidalee, and Neeko.

Milio’s abilities in League of Legends

Milio is an enchanter support and his fuemigos and his backpack ‘furnasita’ are a major part of his kit. He uses the fire axion as part of his kit and he uses it to shield and heal allies. 

His abilities are as follows: 

• Fired Up! (Passive): Milio’s abilities enchant allies on touch, making their next damage deal a burst of extra damage and burn the target.

• Ultra Mega Fire Kick (Q): Milio kicks a ball that knocks back an enemy. The ball launches upward on hit and falls toward the enemy, damaging and slowing enemies in the area upon impact.

• Cozy Campfire (W): Milio creates an empowering zone that heals allies and increases attack range to those inside. The zone follows the ally nearest to the cast point.

• Warm Hugs (E): Milio tosses a shield to an ally, temporarily increasing their movement speed.

• Breath of Life (R): Milio unleashes a wave of soothing flames that heal and remove crowd control effects from allies in range.

When is Milio releasing in League of Legends?

Riot Games stated that Milio will be released in LoL Patch 13.6. According to the official patch schedule, the update will go live on the servers on 22nd March (Wednesday). Additionally, Milio will be receiving a new skin apart from his base skin upon release called Faerie Court Milio.
