Riot Games has released a new teaser for its unreleased enchanter support champion Milio on the PBE.
Here’s everything you need to know about Milio and the new in-game teaser.

Riot Games, at the start of Season 13, revealed that Milio and Naafiri would be the first two new champions entering the Summoner’s Rift in early 2023. From the last teaser from Riot Games, it became evident that Milio, the newest League of Legends support champion, will use the fire axiom and it was also mentioned that he’s very young. Players were given a whole bunch of new information with high-sounding words about Milio and his journey in January. Now, it looks like the company is readying itself to tease Milio on Summoner’s Rift as players have found a new easter egg and in-game teaser on the public beta environment (PBE).

Here’s everything we know about the in-game teaser and the enchanter support so far!

Milio’s teaser on Summoner’s Rift spotted in PBE

Currently, on the PBE, when you get into a game of Summoner’s Rift and walk down to the bottom lane, you will find an easter egg that represents the newest, unreleased support champion, Milio. When you go to the bottom lane alcove, you will find a fire pit in one of the corners. If you look closely, you will notice that one of Milio’s orange blobs is perched on it.

According to YouTuber SkinSpotlights, these yellow blobs are Milio’s “firebuddies.

All we know about Milio so far

We first learned about Milio in 2022, when Lead champion producer Ryan “Reav3” Mireles talked about the new champions and gave some hints and clues about their origin. However, Milio was in very early development back then. Reav3 added that Milio will show a very different side to Ixtal, far from the lavish palaces Qiyana grew up in. The 2022 teaser video showcased an art teaser with three cute and tiny orange creatures, which are possibly called Milio’s firebuddies and are most likely a part of the support champion’s kit.

Additionally, in the 2023 teaser at the start of the season, Product Lead for Champions Lexi “Riot Lexical” Gao said Milio will use the fire axiom and he’s very young. “Milio uses fire not to raze cities, but to soothe wounds,” Lexical said. She also revealed that he carries a backpack and that his biggest challenge seems to be “the Vidalion.” However, it is unclear as to what or who exactly the Vidalion is.

The gist of the enchanter support’s lore is that he is journeying to Ixaocan, the capital city of Ixtal. He will uncover the darkest secrets of Yun Tal, the working class of Ixaocan, said Lexical.

Riot Games made it clear that Milio will be the first champion to release this year and Naafiri, the darkin, will follow the support champion’s release.
