Kyedae and TenZ announce their engagement

Kyedae wrote on Twitter, “WE’RE ENGAGED!!!! To forever with you, my love. I couldn’t be happier to grow old with my favorite human being.” Meanwhile, TenZ made the announcement on Twitter and revealed that they have been engaged for eight months now. He wrote, “Happy 3-year anniversary to the love of my life. It’s crazy how fast time flies when you’re enjoying life. Btw we have been engaged [for] 8 months but have kept it a secret until now.” They both posted photos of their photoshoot from when TenZ proposed to her.

Kyedae reveals details about the engagement

In her recent livestream, following the engagement announcement, Kyedae showed the engagement ring that TenZ gave her and also explained why they both decided to keep it a secret. She also shared an adorable and funny “TenZ moment” from the engagement. She said, “We kept it hidden for eight months. 29th December 2021 is when he proposed.” Kyedae said they decided to keep it private since social media and people “in general are nasty online.” The couple only announced their engagement to family members and close friends to cherish it for a while.

Valorant pro Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan revealed on stream that he knew about the engagement beforehand since TenZ said he was getting a ring.

Kyedae also revealed that there is an engagement video and that she has not shown it to anyone. She said the only two people who have seen it are TenZ and her. “I will share it with you guys one day when I feel comfortable enough to share it because Tyson is so awkward. He fumbled the box and dropped it, I’m pretty sure. It just looks really awkward and I just start laughing. It’s very Tyson. I have to ask him if I can show it.

The Valorant community, pro players, esports organizations, and personalities alike commented on the couple’s posts and congratulated them.
