The playoffs of the VCT 2023 EMEA League has reached its final stages and the top four qualifying teams have been attained.
Fnatic, Team Liquid, FUT Esports, and NAVI are the top four teams that will be representing the EMEA region in VCT 2023 Masters Tokyo.
The three best performing EMEA teams from Masters Tokyo will further qualify for the Valorant Champions 2023.

The ongoing VCT 2023: EMEA League has reached its final stages and the top four teams have been attained after more than two months of intense action which started out with ten franchised teams.

Some of the best teams from across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa (EMEA) took on each other in a high-stakes group stage that followed a single round-robin format, but only the top six moved ahead to the playoffs.

From among these six teams, the four that have managed to qualify for the VCT 2023: Masters Tokyo are Fnatic, Team Liquid, FUT Esports, and Natus Vincere.

All four qualifying teams put up one hell of a fight to make it this far in the tournament which featured some incredible participants and talented players.

Initially, ten partnered teams faced each other in the regular season which took place from 27th March to 19th May, but only six teams qualified to the next stage while the remaining four were eliminated.

In the next phase, the six qualified teams competed in the playoffs which featured a double-elimination bracket scheduled to take place from 23rd to 28th May.

VCT 2023 EMEA League - Playoffs

Compared to the two other regions, Americas and Pacific, through which the top three teams will automatically qualify for both the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2023: Masters Tokyo and Valorant Champions 2023, the EMEA region plays out a bit differently.

Fnatic was the champion of the VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo due to which the EMEA region was granted an extra slot for Masters Tokyo. Hence instead of the top three, the top four teams are representing the region in Japan.

Further, instead of three teams automatically qualifying for the Valorant Champions 2023, the performance of all EMEA teams at Masters Tokyo will be evaluated and the top three will qualify for the year-end final tournament.

Now, just one more slot remains to be occupied for the VCT 2023 Masters Tokyo between the two North American teams, Cloud9 and NRG. It will be interesting to see which team bags this final spot to complete the list of competitors.
