Dr Disrespect quit Warzone recently and he has been looking for other games to play.
He tried out Apex Legends and was unhappy with the game's high TTK which he finds boring.
The streamer is still looking for a new game to settle but he might also get back to Warzone in Season 5.

Apex Legends Season 10 is set to launch later tonight but not everyone is happy about the new content drop. Popular content creator, Dr Disrespect recently slammed the popular battle royale for its long time-to-kill. Apex Legends is currently one of the biggest battle royales in the gaming industry and it is also growing as an esport with its second year of the Apex Legends Global Series featuring a $5 million UDS prize pool. But Dr Disrespect does not agree with how the game feels and he thinks that the time-to-kill in the game is too high which makes him “hate this game.

Why Dr Disrespect does not like Apex Legends time-to-kill

Dr Disrespect posted a clip on his Twitter account where he rants about Apex Legends and its drawn-out fights. He said “There’s nothing like cracking two then having to sit there and f***ing watch them heal. That’s why I don’t like this game, I hate this game! Shooting shields? I don’t like it.”

Needless to say, the hot take did not sit well even with his followers. Despite the negative feedback from the streamer, Apex is one of the most popular battle royales right now and it has been growing at an impressive rate in the past two seasons. The game is also getting a mobile version in the near future. While Dr Disrespect might not be the biggest fan of Apex Legends, Shroud also called it the best BR (Battle Royale) out there.

This is not the first time that the streamer has expressed his dislike for the game. He complained about the game in the past and it does not look like it is his cup of tea. He said at the time “there’s something about Apex. It’s different, like, Warzone you’ve got the slide canceling, slide canceling, the movement.”

He said that Apex throws him off as it is too different and he also does not like the fact that most weapons have negligible recoil in the game.

In another stream from April 2021, someone donated and asked the streamer if he will play Apex Legends again. The streamer admitted that it is not something that he plans to do because the YouTube viewership for the game is not big enough to warrant streaming it. He said “I mean I can, but the problem with YouTube is that they have no streaming community. If I just casually move over to Apex, a game that’s old...a year or two. I mean, sh*t.”

It does not look like Doc will be playing the game much in the near future and he might be switching back to Warzone. With Season 5 around the corner, the Doc might have renewed interest in the Call of Duty title. He said in the past that he is bored of the game’s current state and is looking for a fresh experience which is why he gave Apex Legends a shot.
