A Call of Duty Warzone player encountered a weird interaction.
They encountered a strange cheater who was able to teleport their helicopter into the space to win a game of Warzone.

While Warzone is usually difficult to win, cheaters make the situation a hundred times worse. Despite the game's anti-cheat, Ricochet security detection system, in place, there are many instances where cheaters get away with their antics and scripts.

It has come to light that cheaters in Call of Duty Warzone are now resorting to teleporting helicopters into orbit to win the game. A few days ago one Redditor posted a clip of them encountering a cheater using the helicopter glitch to essentially win the game.

Call of Duty Warzone Helicopter Cheat

Reddit user WilsonatorYT posted a gameplay clip of Warzone where they begin to shoot an enemy helicopter as it takes off. However, the chopper picks up speed and ascends into the sky swiftly, making it miss all the bullets and damage dished out by the enemy.

At the end of the clip, during the last, end circle, WilsonatorYT and their teammate are the alive and they encounter the cheater once again. They notice that the enemy is out of the map on their helicopter far out of reach. As a result, the cheater essentially wins the game by default.

The post was titled, "Cheaters in Warzone are literally teleporting helicopters out of the atmosphere - how is this even possible with Ricochet?"

On the Reddit thread, many other players came forward to voice out their frustrations with Ricochet. One user commented, "Ricochet is just a term marketing people came up with to improve the perception of Warzone." Another said, "I'm sure the whole marketing propaganda of Ricochet it being a kernel level anti-cheat etc was written by ChatGPT."

One Warzone player wondered why the developers would improve the game when players continue to buy overpriced skins and premium battle passes despite the game being the way it is currently.

A fair point was made by user HyperionEvo. They said, "Ricochet is a kernel level anti cheat, it does block all Linux users from playing very well (tried on my steamdeck before knowing of this) however it doesn’t instantly ban all the time, and knowing cods dedication to anything other than selling skins, explains why it barely works. It doesn’t hurt them making money, and people will still play. However f**k the cheaters, they gain nothing and ruin the fun."

It should be noted that Warzone Season 2 just went live on 7th February and it brought forth a plethora of new content including the sought-after Fortune’s Keep Resurgence map, ranked play, new operators, new gameplay features and much more.
