But players will not be able to download the upcoming patch as the game servers are shut down.

Krafton has released an upgrade regarding the test version of BGMI ahead of the game's release. There were reports of BGMI Early Access patch 2.6 being available for download but it turns out the new patch is not available for download. While BGMI beta testers did receive a notification, the game is not available for download as the servers have been shut down temporarily.

Krafton's statement on BGMI Beta Test

An official statement from KRAFTON says, “Currently, the closed test track for BGMI is updated. Those who opted for a public test for the game before its launch are expected to get a message which takes them to play store for downloading the game. However, the link wont work and the game cannot be downloaded as the servers have been shut."

Krafton also revealed that some other users who were not signed up for the closed test are also getting this message. This is a technical error and the developers are working on resolving the issue.

There is no beta test for Krafton's upcoming update at the moment despite players receiving notifications that a new beta patch is available. Krafton has not officially revealed if the game will receive a beta ahead of its release and we will update this article if a download is available for BGMI beta testers.

Krafton is expected to announce BGMI’s release date very soon so keep an eye out for the game’s release and adhere to the abovementioned rules when playing the game. There will be strict rules regarding player spending, playtime and players below the age of 18 will face additional restrictions.
